This week we were challenged to remix something, anything. So of course, I knew I had to pull out a playlist stacked with remixes. But in doing so, the whole concept of remixing—altering a track that is usually owned by someone else and then slapping your name onto it—got me curious.
(Honestly, “curious” is just a polite way of me telling you that I wandered down a rabbit hole of grey legal areas. Sorry, I watch a lot of Suits.)
